Brewed using our traditional methods and finest ingredients."
Black Sheep Ale
"Full flavoured premium bitter, with a rich fruity aroma.
It is brewed with many generous handfuls of choice Golding hops giving a bittersweet malty taste, followed by Black Sheep' characteristic long, dry and bitter finish."
Riggwelter Ale
"The pick of the Black Sheep flock - a strong deep chestnut brown beer with a rich near - white head and the aroma of freshly roasted coffee.
A wonderfully complex palate with hints of coffee, bananas and liquorice leading to a classic Golding hop finish."
Golden Sheep
"Golden Sheep is a beautifully balanced Blonde cask beer, with a dry and refreshing bitterness. It develops with light, citrusy fruit flavours, and a clean, crisp finish.
Brewed using time honoured methods and fermented in our Yorkshire Square vessels."

York Brewery, York
"York Brewery started production in May 1996 at Toft Green, becoming the first brewery within the city walls since JJ Hunts nearly 40 years previous. The brewing plant came from Original Lions Brewery in Blackburn and was moved to fabricators to bring it up to our high quality standards.
Our very first brew was Yorkshire Terrier (4.2%), a premium bitter with rich, creamy malt and a full hop palate. This ale made up half of our original products, with our other beer for sale being Stonewall (3.7%). Gradually over time other ales have been added to our core range, first Centurion's Ghost Ale in 2000, followed by Guzzler in 2003. As time has gone on, we have brewed more seasonal ales and now have a monthly cask calendar showcasing a new beer each month.
In December 2008, York signed a cross-pennine deal to secure the future of the brewery, under the steerage of pub operator Mitchell's of Lancaster. The deal marks a return to brewing for the Mitchell's family firm who ceased their own beer production in July 1999.
Under new ownership, York Brewery is still committed to producing quality real ales for the discerning drinker and will achieve this through our company philosophy:
'To operate a successful brewery and pubs which are professionally managed in a fun atmosphere. Producing high quality cask conditioned ale and providing a 'special' customer service in our pubs.'"

Rooster's Brewing Co. Ltd, Knaresborough
"Our beer making process is founded on the belief that care taken in the selection and processing of the raw materials will be repaid in the beer flavour. Beer can move from being an alcoholic commodity to a sensory product as worthy of the name as any wine, tea or coffee.
The trouble with us is we have a passion and something to prove. Just like flowers and fruits, we know that hops contain Terpenes. These Terpenes are what give grapes their varietal aromas and indeed give fruits and flowers their smell. With the right raw material and attention to detail in the brewing process these hop derived fruity or floral varietal aromas, this shows in our beers."

Nick stafford's Hambleton Ales
"Nick stafford's Hambleton Ales was established in 1991 in the hamlet of Holme on Swale, situated on the banks of the River Swale in the heartland of Hambleton District. Needless to say, Hambleton Ales serves many local communities because it is the brewery's business to supply Yorkshire pubs and restaurants. Private individuals are very important customers, as parties, weddings and anniversaries are constantly being celebrated with ale from its home delivery service. Local off licences are supplied, as are ASDA, Threshers and Tescos. It is company policy to support local schools and sports clubs with supplies of refreshments for their fund-raising events at less than cost price.
Best Bitter (3.8% abv): A golden bitter with a good balance of malty and refreshing citrus notes leading to a mellow tangy finish."
